The Rocket Has Taken Off for Nvidia. Where Does That Leave AMD Stock?

Advanced Micro Devices stock is right where it was 30 years ago, swimming in the eye of a growth hurricane. Today’s hurricane, of course, is Nvidia, whose blowout earnings February 21 turned the whole market around. The previous hurricane was Intel , which doubled multiple times in the 1990s as half of the “WinTel” monopoly, alongside Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT).
