The benefits are for Tokyo residents, and the dividends are lower compared to Honda with a similar stock price. The government's stock seems to have risen amidst speculation but may become stagnant once things settle down. Since it was excluded from ipos, maybe there is no point in buying it in the future? If the stocks owned by the government and Tokyo are put up for sale, they might turn into worthless stocks...
Nevertheless, it was a mediocre debut price~
I thought it would either go down to 1,300 yen if cheap or easily exceed 2,000 yen if expensive, but it ended up in the middle 😭
