The imminent US debt ceiling will make it difficult to issue...

The approaching US debt ceiling will make it difficult to issue government bonds. Since 1/6 is the deadline, without any action, the credit rating of US bonds may be downgraded, leading to selling of government bonds. Although circuit breakers prevent sudden chaos, due to the unstable psychological factors of investors, there is a high possibility that stocks will be sold off quite intensely.
During the Christmas rally, it seems necessary to convert profitable stocks into cash, and then reassess the situation while observing the overall trend.
Just like during the real estate bubble and IT bubble, please be careful as there might be a sudden crash.
Please be aware that buying on dips may not be profitable, so apart from hedging, I prefer to wait and see how things develop.
Stocks are bought and sold, but if you can take a break... I think it's considered mature. It's not easy to do, but it's funny.
Wishing you a great year ahead ๐Ÿ™†
