This shouldn't be legal
Rep. Michael McCaul just filed ~$16.1M worth of trades
And the conflicts of interest are pretty blatant
But what's notable about this filing is this:
He sits as chairman on some of the most powerful house committees including:
- The Foreign Affairs
- The Homeland Security
- The Congressional High Tech Caucus
- The Congressional CyberSecurity Caucus
- The Congressional AI Caucus
So buying $500K of Intel while sitting on the AI Caucus, could be a conflict of interest
Or trading $650K in
$Meta Platforms (META.US)$ while sitting on the high tech caucus & voting "Yes" to ban tiktok, that may be a conflict of interest
To be fair, these all seem to be in his "Spouse" & "Child's" name but still
Pity Me : As long as it drives up the price, I am not going to complain!
Censorship here : Worried about other ppls money will keep you broke
