TSM's stock hit a new high. Can AI demand really last for years as the CEO claimed?
Views 3.3M Contents 237

This was so predictable

$ASML Holding (ASML.US)$ what a hyped up company.
They might do some great machines, but how many machines can the really produce? The more complex a tool the fewer you can make. Hence, no scalability, it's a niche business. Asml growth will be always limited due to their complexity. If producing unique machines and tools was the way to create a trillion $ business, ABB and Sandvik would be there already. Asml is not a bellwether to nvda or tsm, tsm will blow the quarter, nvda will blow the quarter and the next best chipmaker is Qualcomm followed by amd, the rest of these companies are not scalable.

  • LELT : As only thèy can do it easily can up price thier products

  • joe black8 OP : Very clever, I'm pretty sure asml thought of it, except that, asml needs many parts from different companies to actually make it's machine, and 2nd amat and lam research could easy do what asml does and do in their own ways. I don't think you know what this company actually does
