This week's new listing: Warrants over 99SMART, CIMB, SDG, BYD and more!
In addition to yesterday’s new listing of 99 Speed Mart (99SMART) warrants, highlighted here, we have included warrants over other underlyings such as CIMB, SD Guthrie (SDG) and Hong Kong stocks such as BYD Company, Meituan, Ping An and Xiaomi.
CIMB-C1T – Currently has the lowest absolute price amongst peers in the market, at a bid/ask price of RM0.075/0.080.
SDG-C23 – Currently has one of the lowest absolute prices amongst peers in the market, at a bid/ask price of RM0.045/0.050. This warrant expires on 30 April 2025 and is the longest dated warrant over SDG. Warrants with longer time to expiry tend to have a lower rate of time decay than warrants expiring sooner, all other factors held constant.
BYD-C30 – (related news) On September 13th, the U.S. Trade Representative announced substantial tariff increases on Chinese imports, which would take effect even on imported electric vehicles (EV). Nonetheless, according to a news report, BYD would still have the cheapest EV in the U.S. as BYD’s lowest-priced EV would still undercut all U.S. automakers at under $25,000. (electrek, 17 Sept). •Other warrants over Hong Kong stocks – Highest liquidity among their respective peers, with 3mil units placed at each of the bid and ask.
