  • Devando223 : I like most of the leveraged stocks like soxl tqqq nvdl spyu tecl fngu the average like 40% a year

  • 10baggerbamm Devando223 : there's two sides to the coin I am highly leveraged in these leveraged ETFs also and it's great when they're going up but when they go down it's extremely painful there's also maintenance requirements on the way down that you need to comply with so you may be forced to liquidate and you don't want to find yourself in that position because if you liquidate it's three and a third of the underlying stock and again it's not the same maintenance requirements every firm.

  • 10baggerbamm : I would encourage you to look at each leveraged ETF separately and if you don't know call the company and ask them flat out because if the market sells off for an event you don't want to find yourself in a position being forced to take a loss if you don't have sufficient capital in the account. with regard to tsll I got put 10,000 shares I sold 100 contracts couple weeks back so I collected the premium and then it closed below the strike and it was exercised that tends to be how I play a lot of these leveraged ETFs. where there's a price that I want to own it it's under the market so I'll sell naked And if I get put it fine if not I just keep collecting premiums along the way. there's some brilliant analysts that are now saying 265/300 price point on Tesla in the coming 12 months if that's the case this ETF is going to be back to over $20 well over $20 you know closer to 30 if it's on the high end. there's many people that say oh you have decay and things like that on ETFs like this I've owned some leverage ETFs for over a year and I'm telling you you can't calculate it I mean maybe if you're a quant you can see it I don't because if the stock trades for example Amazon I've got a lot of The leverage ETF for Amazon 2X when the stocks trading higher and it just set another all-time high I'm bringing the cash register so you let it run same with apple same with Microsoft same with meta. so I use these all the time the returns can be fantastic on the upside but just keep in mind the pain is excruciating when it goes against you

  • 10baggerbamm : on a side note and I posted this a long time ago if you look under DRIP. it's a inverse leveraged ETF off of oil and a large refineries this is a perfect play on Trump getting elected president. if eminent not for nothing if you look at what it's done since I recommended it's gone from the low sevens to 10 but that's just because Biden has dumped the reserves that were saved up and that's lowered the price. but you can rest for sure and God help us if he wins you want to buy The leverage gush, because oil is going to skyrocket to over 100 bucks during his next term I'll terminally God willing when Trump wins we go back down to the mid-40s and price which means all of the Big oil refinery stocks are going to get hit which means drip, drip goes into the low 20s

  • Maniac Fool : These ETF gives dividends too.

  • Maniac Fool 10baggerbamm : I should keep the leveraged long etf of Tesla then
