$Defiance R2000 Enhanced Options 0DTE Income ETF (IWMY.US)$ with current $3.70 loss on one test share, dividend paid gives me a loss of 10 cents. not horrible for potential long term hold. will this trend continue or will stock value increase. how should I judge this current performance?
also on my list to see if I should invest or not are the following. I'm aware they are high volatility, that could payout after dividends surpass principle or just flop entirely. I believe I would know in roughly two days if dividends can surpass current principle loss. I'm new to high yield and so far this is the best way I have for judging possible performance on the new ones.

Leixian : you can consider that it have been consistently giving div of 1$+ so far, thn decide if you want to take the risk
机会总是… : Can I still receive dividends if I buy now?
rookie for now : September is a ruff month just rude it out the best you can. it will go up at some point
Andrea Connally : watch the price of bitcoin. As bitcoin goes up so will this. as it goes down so will this. The underlying (coinbase) will follow bitcoin very closely. I'm close to house money right now after reinvesting dividends for several months. So I'm justing averaging down and I'll ride it all the way up and enjoy the 1.5 + whenever they come back.
sangmachn OP Andrea Connally : this is certainly faring better than cony and msty at the moment. after testing all three for the past couple months I think I will definitely go with iwmy.
sangmachn OP Andrea Connally : also what do you mean by house money? like bills level gains? or are you so deep you mean like 100k + value gains, just trying to gauge the level of investment from the person I'm communicating with.
Andrea Connally sangmachn OP : It’d you reinvent dividends, plan on it taking around 10 months of dividends to match your original investment
. I’m near that point
Andrea Connally sangmachn OP : I went with CONY because I'd already started a stake in QQQY and wanted to diversify into a yieldmax and a defiance fund. CONY will rocket north soon. But it'll be a rough few months before it does. in the mean time I'll just gobble it up at a discount.
