Time to recharge and learn

As a developing trader, one must keep on learning and sharpen the saw. If you are finding inconsistent results, like me, this book does hit home some key messages.

I must say, of late, my results are more consistent, due to waiting for trades to show me entry rather than force an entry.

September historically is a weak month for stocks. But thats what they said about May, but Bursa shine through then. So now we begin to see weakness, just keep an open mind and trade or don’t trade based on what you see.

Trading is a game of probabilities, once this is truly ingrained in my trading mindset, I believe i will last long in this competitive arena.

FCPO spread trading is my focus now. recently closed 2 back to back profitable spread trades. And i just started spread trading, with 4 out of 5 wins. Pretty happy about the results. Spread trading is slow and steady, and in my view suitable for part time traders who have full time 9-5 jobs. You will actually have time to think through market direction and so far does not have wild swings. If you study the charts, when it trends, it will be very obvious and last for days. Use Heiken Ashi charts to spot trends.

Stock trading will be very much selective basis and waiting for the right moment. i am above 75% cash now, so patiently waiting for the turn and doing my homework to pick winners.
