TLDR: Don't get a car unless your household/family really needs one.

1. What level of income do you think is suitable for becoming a car owner?

Assuming one does not have family commitments, housing mortgage, then a single individual probably should earn at least 8000 sgd in order to own a car.

If one has a family, housing mortgage and all, then both couples should have a combined income of 15 000 sgd to own a car.

2. Are you already a car owner? What was the COE auction price when you purchased your car?

Nope. I cannot afford a car. Car is a depreciating asset that I rather used the car money for stock investment or buy a house.
