To give perspective
This is taken at an interview in 7 Dec 23, look at the shareprice, both have DOUBLE today, but all the attention were on Nvidia. Nvidia currently has about 90-95% share of the AI GPU market, see this as a growing cake. The competition, especially AMD, will come in to take the cake eventually, cause the AI learning model will evolved. When IPhone came out, all wanted it, but soon it will evolve with cheaper models, but serving another budget segment. The learning models will evolved, and they need not use the best of the best, cause the big boys will "subscribe" out the services to the smaller boys to utilize the AI service. That is how the big boys monetize AI. The smaller boys may not need the "best of best" chips, and that is where the rest of the competition comes in. Nvidia will continue to the the new "Apple" of AI chips, but the competion like AMD would be the "Samsung".. which really is not too shady.

152257758 : Good point. For AMD to really grow the bottom line quickly, they would need to really innovate and be the first to do something, instead of always following giants.
Markio1315 OP 152257758 : Their hardware is already near, it's the eco system and CUDA.
