This_Guy : To research a company you should look at its filings,  financials, charts and PR, not do searches on Google. Aside from that, if you play pennies you should learn how the game is played.

This_Guy yanf : You either paper trade or trade for real and expect to lose money for a while. There is a lot to learn. I can tell you what not to do: don't chase stocks unless you are ok losing money, do not day trade/momentum trade yet. There is too much going on in day trading, you need to be quick, understand charts and be familiar with a lot of the stocks and you also need to be able to control your emotions and in particular FOMO. You also need to understand what is happening in other traders minds.
