digimonX Financially_Free : This is because many retailers are gamblers, not investors.  Investors do research before buying & after buying, they hold for a long time for stock price to appreciate.  Gamblers buy to make a quick buck, not truly understanding what they bought.  After buying, they expect stocks to always go up.  If stocks don't go up, they come & post stupid msges like "stupid stock", "trash stock", etc & then sell at a loss.
