The top diplomats of Germany and Israel held a meeting in Tel Aviv.
Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock met with Israel's Foreign Minister Israel Katz in Tel Aviv.
The Foreign Minister is scheduled to hold a press conference later today.
Yesterday, Foreign Minister Baerbock condemned the military attacks on the occupied West Bank of Jordan and called on the factions in the government to stop the escalation of religious tensions.
Foreign Minister Baerbock stated that the actions of far-right Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, such as visiting the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem, are "irresponsible and already causing extremely dangerous situations. We expect Israel to stop this provocation."
The Foreign Minister delivered a speech in Amman, Jordan, stating that the country will increase humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip by an additional $55 million.
