Tough year-end and New Year holidays

This is the first article update of the new year. However, the market is not at all prosperous.![]()

Due to the year-end decline, $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ hit the stop-loss level and retreated, while $Apple (AAPL.US)$ also retreated yesterday.
Yesterday, the market suddenly dropped at the opening, so while I was taking a bath, all my US stocks were stopped out and cut off. $Palantir (PLTR.US)$ $Reddit (RDDT.US)$ $Astera Labs (ALAB.US)$ However, the market rebounded so I bought back. Even though I was able to buy them back, I missed out on 3-4%. ![]()
However, US stocks are generally weak. The Index ETF has dropped to the lower limit in mid-December. If it bounces from here, it's safe, but if it breaks down, it could start a downtrend, which is not good. ![]()
Year-end $Hino Motors (7205.JP)$ Semiconductors were strong, so Japanese stocks are not bad, but if US stocks continue to decline, the impact on Japanese stocks is inevitable.
Starting the new year with an uncertain outlook, in 2024, right after the new year, we immediately saw a surge in Semiconductors, so I'm patiently waiting for another major buying opportunity this year.

fujikenner : If you set your stop loss too loose, I think you'll get hunted down pretty quickly within about 30 minutes of opening recently.
