Toyota and Tencent have partnered in the development of electric vehicle technology.

Japanese automotive giant Toyota has partnered with Tencent Holdings to improve automotive technology in China, according to China Daily on April 26th.

Both companies are reported to be working on Toyota's cloud computing system, big data, and artificial intelligence for electric vehicles, according to the newspaper. This partnership is based on the words of Yuuki Nakajima, Toyota's Vice President and Chief Technical Officer, who announced the partnership at the Beijing Auto Show.

This partnership took place when Toyota announced its new electric vehicle models, bZ3C and bZ3X, at the Beijing Auto Show. The media added that both cars are equipped with the latest smart cockpit and driving assistance systems.
