Traders pay attention to data as a clue when central banks will cut interest rates
Inflation is easing around the world, but there are delicate issues plaguing policymakers in the economies on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, and this has forced both the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Federal Reserve (Fed) to choose to maintain current interest rates this summer. The money market believes that while both the ECB and the Fed evaluate the possibility of cutting interest rates at 70% in September, interest rates will remain unchanged in July.
