Tropical Storm Beryl shuts down Texas oil export hub

Authorities closed major ports and restricted the passage of ships on Sunday due to concerns over tropical storm Beryl, which is expected to return to power as a Category 1 hurricane and directly hit the Texas coast.
Corpus Christi Port, America's largest crude oil export hub, was closed after the Coast Guard chief set up “Zulu” on Sunday. No ship can enter, pass through, or stay in port without the captain's permission.
Crude oil exports, crude oil shipments to refineries, and automobile fuel shipments from refineries may be temporarily suspended due to the closure, as reported by Reuters on Sunday.
The Port of Houston, Port of Galveston, Port of Freeport, and Port of Texas City were in a “Yankee” state, and all ships entering the port were suspended.
