Troubles at Warner Bros Discovery and Corporate Governance Concerns

Looking back at $Warner Bros Discovery (WBD.US)$, it's hard to believe the depths of their troubles. The corporate governance of Malone's company deteriorated to such an extent that they missed revenue by $300 million, reduced non-cash goodwill by $9.1 billion (an "excellent" capital allocation ability), and saw a 43% year-on-year decline in free cash flow to around $1 billion. Revenues from theaters, networks, and DTC all declined, and Zaslav, whom I believe to be the most overpaid CEO in the media industry, could still say in an earnings call, 'I think we're in a pretty good position.' How shamelessly audacious! This stock has likely burned many reputable 'value investors' who believed in Zaslav/Malone.
