I'd say, probably Trump. My logical reason for saying that is his intention to free up a lot of US resource mining and drilling, either for domestic consumption, reducing trade deficit, or export. Also, he doesn't seem concerned with Net Zero and any of the market inefficiencies it introduces, which regardless of whether or not you "believe in climate change" will mean better returns. Like it or not, renewables and electric cars aren't (and will never) be more efficient in dollar terms than fossil fuels. My gut feel is that during the transition from George W to Obama, it just seems like markets kinda slowed down and everyone pulled back. In my (relatively) short life, it just seems like the stock market / economy likes to have a republican presidency. But I have no idea why, or if this has always been the case. I'm Australian and don't really know anything about US politics aside from the garbage we're fed by syndicated news (which is comically exaggerated and unashamedly biased depending on which network you watch)
