Trump's new social media stock goes public at market open

If you haven't heard, ex US president Donald Trump has merged his media company, Trump Media, with Technology Group - who own Truth Social.

This new combined company will trade on the Nasdaq exchange when the market opens under it's new ticker new ticker symbol, DJT — Trump’s initials.

This new merger could add billions to Trump's net worth, but there are also plans for the social media network itself.

Devin Nunes, the CEO of the combined company, said in a statement that the business will move to “reclaim the Internet from Big Tech censors.”
