Trump trades continue.
$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ I don't think it's necessarily bad earnings. It may take time, but I think it will rise in the long run. Explosive growth like before may not be expected. Rather $Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3x Shares ETF (SOXL.US)$ I think there is a high risk of significant losses for stocks that have been rising with leverage based on expectations, as the boom seems to be passing. In fact, there are many companies in the composition of the stocks whose outlook is unclear. I have commented on this before, but I don't see any benefit in actively investing in such stocks now, not in nvidia.
However, I have also ventured into semiconductors in a contrarian manner. $Direxion Daily S&P Biotech Bull 3x Shares ETF (LABU.US)$ Biotechnology stocks tend to rise without performance but are easily driven by expectations. Currently, there are many stocks with unusually low pe ratios due to high interest rates, so there is hope that they may rise significantly when interest rates fall. However, there are dark clouds looming with the recent personnel changes (Kennedy). It is certainly a gamble, so I cannot recommend it to others even if I do not know what will happen in the future.
Cryptocurrency-related stocks are very active, centered around currency etfs, but there will undoubtedly come a time when they collapse somewhere. $MicroStrategy (MSTR.US)$ However, those who have patiently held on will finally be rewarded, as funds are undoubtedly flowing in from stocks that were once part of the semiconductor boom. Personally, knowing that I am not good at catching big waves of growth based on past experiences, I am planning to end the year with a solidly diversified portfolio like etc indexes. $Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI.US)$ $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$ I am considering crossing the year with a firmly diversified portfolio like etc indexes because I know I am not good at riding the big waves of growth.
Nevertheless, the Trump administration's moves are unpredictable, and it seems that there will be more turmoil ahead.
