杨羊羊 : I'm not sure how special Dividend works but you have to own it when it goes into exdividend date I think? not sure what the record date is but you have to own it on that day too to be eligible
HOHA888 : Understand that yes it says you must be on Record on the 18th, which means you better be in a few days earlier because it takes a couple days to settle records. This happened before to others who bought in a similar situation. Those that bought the last possible day “of record” but did not managed to get the dividend because it was settled 2 days later. Also, stocks are not settled on the weekend.
HOHA888 Lucky2828 : Shareholders of record on March 18th, 2024 will receive 8 USD special dividend per share on March 22nd, 2024. The ex-dividend date is March 25th, 2024 so means you don’t have to hold the share until the 25th of March.
