Tesla's share price went lower on the 15th day, and Musk confirmed in his community that the event of the original 8/8 demonstration of the unmanned taxi Robotaxi has been delayed. The reasons are:
“Requested what I think is an important design change to the front, and extra time allows us to show off a few other things.”
It's interesting to see how pessimistic people might think Musk is going to be bullshitting again, but optimists will be looking forward to Tesla showing more details about Robotaxi's model and business operations.
Especially after Baidu's “Radish Run” is launched on a massive scale in Wuhan, China, the market should expect Tesla to come up with a more specific business plan, a service process that is different from its peers, more stable and reliable autonomous driving technology, and more.
Simply put, the market appetite has grown so Tesla is not in a hurry to release a modest initial plan, which is the right thing to do, but if after October Tesla still exits the market, deeming it insufficiently mature or unable to see a workable plan that is likely to be a short-term trader switch, the share price could be severely punished.
