TSMC earthquake countermeasures are perfect | Japan must learn
" $Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US$ It says they are installing dampers on buildings to absorb earthquake energy, reduce property losses, and conduct regular drills to resume operations more quickly.
The company also stated that disaster insurance is sufficient to spread business losses even under the worst conditions. A spokeswoman said the TSMC building was designed to withstand an earthquake of the same magnitude as Wednesday's earthquake.”
