🎯 U.S. equities extend rally; S&P 500 and Dow Jones notch in record close

U.S. equities rallied for a second consecutive day Wednesday, on the back of easing geopolitical concerns. The S&P 500 rallied to a new record high, boosted by gains in healthcare and technology stocks as 9 out of 11 S&P sectors closed higher. The Dow Jones also notched in a record close, jumping more than 400 points higher, while the Nasdaq-100 advanced 0.8% as shares of Amazon and Apple inched up more than 1%. Attention is now focused on the upcoming inflation data set to be released on Thursday for clues on the Fed’s future rate decision.
