      💥📈U.S. indices extend gains on Monday to approach mid-July all-time highs

      U.S. equities extended their winning run on Monday, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 posting gains for the eighth consecutive session. The S&P 500 gained almost 1.0%, closing just shy of 60 points from its all-time high in mid-July. The Nasdaq-100 gained over 1.3% as tech stocks made a comeback. Nvidia gained 4.4% while Tesla rose over 3.0%. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones gained over 230 points to close 0.6% higher. Investors will be turning their focus to Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s speech at Jackson Hole later this week.
