U.S. stocks drag on Wednesday; Nvidia earnings beat expectations but shares fell 7% in extended trading

U.S. stocks saw a pullback on Wednesday before Nvidia released its earnings after market close. Earnings for the quarter came in modestly above expectations to which its shares fell 7% in extended trading. The S&P 500 fell 0.6% as tech stocks weighed on the index, while the Nasdaq-100 fell close to 1.2%. The Dow Jones fell more than 150 points after two consecutive days of record highs.
