📊U.S. technology shares lead gains amid softening oil prices

Overnight, U.S. stocks rebounded from Monday’s low on the back of easing oil prices as U.S. crude settled down more than 4%. The S&P 500 advanced 1.0% despite losses in energy stocks weighing on the index. Major technology names closed higher, led by Nvidia which added 4%, boosting the Nasdaq-100 to a 1.6% gain. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones climbed over 120 points to close 0.3% higher. All eyes on the upcoming inflation data and the start of 3Q reporting season.
