UK regulators investigate that Microsoft employed former Inlex employees

The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) announced on Tuesday that it has begun an investigation into Microsoft's employment of former employees of Inflection AI.

The CMA is “considering whether a related merger situation has occurred or is likely to occur based on the merger provisions of the 2002 Enterprise Act (Enterprise Act 2002) as a result of employing specific former employees of Inflection Inc. and making arrangements related to Inflection Inc.”

Regulators are expected to complete the investigation and announce their decision by 9/11.
