Ukraine attacks fuel ferry at Russia's Caucasus port
The Ukrainian military attacked the railway ferry “Stove Trader” loaded with fuel tanks at the Caucasus port in Russia's Crimean Peninsula's Krasnodar region, and a large-scale fire broke out at the scene, local authorities reported on Thursday.
“A new attempted terrorist attack on the territory of the Krasnodar Territory has been carried out by the Kiev administration. A railway ferry loaded with fuel tanks was attacked at the Caucasus harbor. Emergency and special services are working on the scene,” the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar region said via the Telegram channel.
According to reports, the Ukrainian military used Neptune anti-ship missiles during the attack. No details about the scale of the fire or potential victims have been revealed at this time.
