Unilever's first-half sales rose 2.3% to 31.1 billion euros
Unilever Plc announced Thursday that sales for the first half of the 2024 fiscal year were 31.1 billion euros, an increase of 2.3% on an annual basis.
Earnings per share were 1.47 euros, up 5.4% from the same period last year. Net profit increased 3.5% from the same period last year to 4 billion euros, and operating profit increased 7.8% to 5.9 billion euros.
We are continuing to establish a growth action plan to “do less, better, and with greater impact.” Implementing a comprehensive productivity improvement program and separating ice cream are key keys to delivering on this commitment, and we are moving forward at that pace. There is a lot of work to be done, but we will continue to focus on transforming Unilever into a business with consistent high performance,” said CEO Hein Schumacher.
