Unsustainability of EVs
Ultimately Pure Battery EVs will fail.
While the hype and attention's on EVs, especially on Tesla, the fact is, in US market, all types of EVs comprise only up to 16% of new sales (Pure battery EVs 7%, dropping quarter on quarter while Hybrid are rising), ICE vehicles still comprise more than 80% of new vehicles sales.
EVs has not turned a corner yet, the hype momentum has not carried over to sales.
And let's face it, there's not enough lithium in the world to replace all ICEs with EVs
it is more sustainable and practical for a modular transport structure where petrol/hydrogen can be transported to a gas station strategically placed geographically, compared to having to build a charging station out in a desert with the need to lay connection to the electricity grid.
Which is more practical?
Carry 7 days of fuel on an Amazon jungle trip or carry 7 days of battery?
watch out for an EV collapse coming...

You said that China's electrification is government intervention, but isn't the USA insisting on not intervening in the gasoline market? Take a look at Saudi Arabia's 2030 plan again. Why do they want to reduce their dependence on oil? Isn't it because they see risks? Going back to China's government intervention, if electric vehicles as a whole are worse than gasoline vehicles, even with government intervention, lbx pharmacy chain joint stock will not buy it. The government is just guiding. Whether this industry can succeed depends on whether this industry is really valuable.
