  • 103281959 : I am waiting for 3.

  • 10baggerbamm : it may happen the 20-day moving average is about 6.50. however my suggestion is if you want to own it that you buy it in a third if you don't own it now and you think that the stimulus that China is providing to the economy is not over that it's going to be multiple times and that's tends to be the general consensus that they've done two rounds there could be five six seven significantly more coming in the days and weeks and months to come. if that's what you believe then there's a lot of upside but trying to time the downside probably is not going to work.. and that's because you're going to be going up against algorithmic buy programs and they can turn on a dime without hitting a moving average without reaching an oversold point you don't know so that's why buying a third and then if it falls a dollar a third and if it falls another 50 cents or a dollar a third. is a more prudent way of doing it. I use this approach with the leveraged ETF  for both microstrategy and coinbase on the way down when they were in the low 20s and coinbase went to the 17 area to leverage ETF in microstrategy leverage went to a little over 15. it's very very hard to figure out where the bottom is going to be it's dumb luck if you're the one that nails the bottom or comes within a quarter or an eighth of it. because when they turn they're off to the races so that's why it's best if you use an averaging down approach and you buy in tranches. so take your dollar amount if it's a thousand bucks it's $330 each time is round one and then it falls a little bit I don't mean eighth a quarter I mean like 50 cents or a dollar then you go in again and then if it falls again you go in for the third time and that way you've averaged your costs down and now when it bounces and it starts to rally that next $2 up you're not trying to recoup to break even but you're actually in the money making a profit at the time it gets back to your original purchase price.
