Inventiva (IVA.PA) secured new financing primarily earmarked for the phase 3 trial of its lanifibranor treatment for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, a fatty liver disease and its subsequent marketing approval and commercialization.
The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company secured an immediate financing of 94.1 million euros worth of shares and prefunded warrants, with a potential to reach up to 348 million euros, subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions, according to a Monday release.
