Updates for Crypto ETFs and S-REITs (19 Oct 2024)
Hello Mooers!
In today’s fast-paced financial world, Mooers often find themselves torn between multiple financial assets.
So, today, I will be sharing some updates for my recent posts and hope that you could also share your insights too.
Without further ado, let's begin!
In my post, 'These ETFs outperformed QQQ! Also, an ETF with a two-digit dividend yield and YTD performance.', I share with Mooers my findings on crypto ETFs. A month had passed, and I believe that Mooers would like to know how well they had performed.
So, I went to gather the latest information, and from my findings, 19 out of 26 crypto ETFs outperformed the $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$ YTD performance of 21.44%.

Out of these 19 outperformers, 7 of them outperformed the QQQ by at least two times, and they are:
BITX 60.67%
GBTC 57.71%
DEFI 54.09%
BITO 52.89%
ARKA 51.94%
BITC 51.26%
FBTC 42.96%
They also outperformed the $Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF (MAGS.US)$ , the Magnificent Seven ETF, YTD 41.67%, but underperformed two of the Magnificent Seven stocks, which are $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ YTD 178.75% and $Meta Platforms (META.US)$ YTD 63.36%.
Please take note that all the YTD values shown in this post are as of October 19, 2024.
Also, the $Global X Nasdaq 100 Covered Call ETF (QYLD.US)$ continues to give a two-digit dividend yield of 11.29%, and at the same time, it has a two-digit YTD performance of 15.57%.
Besides those ETFs mentioned above, Mooers, who is living in Singapore, can also buy S-REIT ETFs that give 4% to 6% dividend yields two to four times per year.
Some examples of S-REIT ETFs and their YTD are:
CLR 0.68%
SRT 1.51%
CFA 1.53%
CLR 0.68%
SRT 1.51%
CFA 1.53%
Talking about S-REIT ETFs, it reminds me of my other post, 'Which REIT types have better chances to HUAT big big?', which I wrote to help one of my funniest MooMoo friends, @soyabean89 , in this $Futu Holdings Ltd (FUTU.US)$ community.
So, I went to gather the latest information and found out that all the REIT groups performance has improved! The Health Care REITs continue to remain the strongest, while the rest are catching up too!
Industrial -1.71%
Hospitality -4.26%
Diversified 3.88%
Retail 5.36%
Office 5.16%
Specialized 7.64%
Health Care 11.38%
Hospitality -4.26%
Diversified 3.88%
Retail 5.36%
Office 5.16%
Specialized 7.64%
Health Care 11.38%
Also, Mooers who bought the two health care REITs and allocated their funds equally across the two REITs at the start of this year would have sitting on 11.38% profit as of 19 October 2024. Wow, congrats!

Hmm... do Mooers believe that this is the start of a crypto bull run? Or do Mooers think that this is the start of a REIT bull run? Or do Mooers think that this is the start of a Magnificent Seven bull run? Please come and share your thoughts, and also participate in the vote below.
That's all for today, and always remember to DYODD (Do your own due diligence) when making any kind of investment.
Thank you and Godspeed!
