Upgraded Chat Experience: A New Tab, Group Suggestions, and Chat History Search

Dear mooers,

Our Chat features just got better! Thanks to your valuable feedback, we're delighted to introduce major upgrades that include a new "Chats" tab, group suggestions, and the ability to search within group history. Let's dive into what's new.

A New Tab

Do you know where to find the "Chats" tab?

Before, accessing "Chats" was a bit cumbersome, requiring you to find it within one of the four message lists. But now, we've made a significant improvement by presenting "Chats" as its own tab on the "Discover" page for effortless access and an optimized user experience.

If you create a group, you and the group members can enjoy increased visibility with this more prominent entrance.

Group Suggestions

Are you tired of searching for groups that match your interests?

We've introduced a curated list of suggested groups that are more active and feature high-quality chat content.

You can access this feature by tapping on the "+" icon above the chat box and locating it under "Join Group", or scrolling down and finding it at the end of the chat list under "Discover Group".

This feature is designed to simplify your quest for groups and broaden your horizons, whether you're a new user or an existing member.

Search Chat History

Have you ever gotten lost in a flood of messages when you're trying to find quotes from influencers, lost track of which chat contacts you've sent important messages to, or struggled to find images or videos in a long thread of text?

We can help you with that! Because you can now search through your chat history for specific messages, quotes, or media, saving you time and energy. Here's what this feature offers:

1. Seamless search across various chat settings

Whether it's a private conversation, group chat, or official notifications, you can search for messages in all chat settings.

2. Powerful filtering options

By using keywords, specific sender filters, and designated time periods, you'll have the ability to filter through your messaging history with precision and accuracy.

3. Instant access to shared media

With just one tap, you can switch to the media library and browse through all the historical images or videos shared in the conversation.

You can go to your chat group, tap on "..." at the top right corner, and select Search Chat History, or you can tap here to access the chat room directly.

We hope these new changes enhance your moomoo experience and foster even more efficient and enjoyable interactions within the moomoo community. Thank you for your ongoing support and valuable feedback!

Z00Moo : I'm getting spam chat requests all the time now. It wasn't an issue at all until recently, coincidentally soon after moomoo Singapore was welcomed into the community.
