According to the National Employment Report for September released by the ADP Research Institute on the 2nd, the number of private sector employees increased by 143,000, exceeding financial estimates.
The economists surveyed by Reuters had expected an increase of 120,000. August's increase from 99,000 to 103,000 was revised upward.
