To eliminate Google's monopoly in the search market, the US Department of Justice has submitted a proposal to the federal district court demanding the sale of the web browser "Chrome" from the company. Furthermore, it is showing a tough stance by suggesting the sale of the mobile operating system "Android" as well.
The proposal from the US Department of Justice is, a detailed document spanning 23 pagesand outlines comprehensive measures to dismantle Google's dominance in the search market. At its core are regulations on two major access points: the Chrome browser and the Android platform.
