I'm firmly in the camp of the view that the ongoing ESG is an agneda meant to serve certain groups. This has resulted is misguided policies on energy, many getting on the renewables bandwagon with little foresight. Those in the know will put out that fossil fuels are here to stay, have lost out in investments causing an imminent energy crisis. The recent datacenter development has me praying that the policy makers provision sufficient electricity generation capabilities (and water resoruces). The US market is no different, there is already talk of electricity grid issues, the entire infrastructures sorely needs revitalization.
