US Initial Jobless Claims Fall to 238,000 Last Week, Still Above Expectations

Continuing claims increased slightly, with the four-week moving average reaching its highest level since September last year. US May housing starts fell 5.5% month-over-month to 1.277 million units, the lowest level since June 2020.
