US revokes Intel & Qualcomm's Export Licenses to sell to Huawei (clarifications)

This needs clarifications because one may infer wrong details or simply spread FUD by not knowing (or maybe purposely ignoring) the actual facts. The export licenses were granted by Trump when he was in office & due to expire some time this year. AMD has applied for a similar license when Biden took office but never got a response. AMD has protested because it argued Intel was "given preferential treatment". On the other hand, AMD is "deprived of hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of sales" to Huawei.

If one understands the background & facts properly, he/she will see the stated license revokation has no negative implication on AMD. This is why I say some people spread FUD.
