Industry associations in major sectors in China, such as communications, digital economy, automobiles, and semiconductors, stated on the 3rd that American semiconductors should not be regarded as 'safe,' but should be approached with caution, urging domestic industries to purchase from within China.

Despite export restrictions, major American companies like Nvidia, AMD, and Intel continue to sell in the Chinese market.
The China Internet Association called on domestic companies to adopt a cautious stance towards sourcing American semiconductors, and to expand cooperation with non-American semiconductor companies. It also encouraged active utilization of semiconductors produced by Chinese and domestic foreign-funded companies, stating that US semiconductor export restrictions are causing 'substantial harm' to the soundness and development of the domestic internet industry.

On the 2nd, the USA added 140 companies, including Chinese semiconductor equipment manufacturers, to the 'Entity List' and expanded export restrictions.
