The market is eagerly awaiting the latest inflation data, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average has seen consecutive declines, closing down 191 points on Wednesday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened slightly higher by 9 points, rose 56 points at one point, reaching a high of 35370 points for the day, but quickly turned downwards, dropping as much as 255 points to a low of 35058 points; the S&P 500 index fell up to 0.85%, with the Nasdaq, which is mainly composed of technology stocks, dropping by 1.34% at one point.
At the US market close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average narrowed its decline slightly to 191 points or 0.54%, closing at 35123 points, marking the second consecutive day of decline; the S&P 500 index fell by 0.7%, closing at 4467 points; the Nasdaq dropped by 1.17%, closing at 13722 points. #USAStockMarket
