This cigar bar is in KL CONCORDE HOTEL. You may not know that CONCORDE is an industry of the Sultan of Selangor in Malaysia (basically the Malaysian prince). Therefore, when you consume here, it is all the elite cream of Malaysian society. I often drink and smoke cigars here, but don't get me wrong, I'm not showing off.
I know several bosses who own multiple listed companies. They all invest in US stocks but never trade themselves, having their own private investment advisors to handle trading. When he talks to me about US stocks, his advisor will have a somewhat arrogant attitude towards me in his presence. If he's not around, the advisor will ask me questions. Why such a double-sided approach? When the boss is present, if he doesn't appear as competent as me, he might be replaced by me.
