堕落的眼泪 : bro morning, would like to ask whether the fair value indicated by morning star is same as the company's intrinsic value?
Muhammad M A OP 堕落的眼泪 : there are a lot of possible ways to value intrinsic. I followed one method which is taught by Ian Tai. this is one of his video. https://youtu.be/MEam6xZX9iE?si=lJi_8-hD_Gb59gwr
堕落的眼泪 Muhammad M A OP : I see.. so the fair value provided by morning star is not the intrinsic value ya?
Muhammad M A OP 堕落的眼泪 : it is using their method, normally they called it fair value. what I observed, normally its higher than what market perceived.
堕落的眼泪 Muhammad M A OP : owh kk, so their fair value published is considered overvalued also? It will be safe if we discount some margin of safety on top of the value?
Muhammad M A OP 堕落的眼泪 : not just theirs , I observed a lot of analysts put higher fair value. yes , I practices what Ian Tai taught. the best is u calculate 10/5 years of PE ratio. then at least u have an idea of lowest and highest PE. then u can set your own MoS.
