The Nippon Foundation is implementing the "Nippon Foundation Yoriso Scholarship" program, a grant-type scholarship system for children of individuals who have been victims of crimes in order to expand support for crime victims without the need for repayment.

Target
Parents, etc., who have encountered a crime and have difficulty paying for their children's education, including those who are currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in high schools, special support school high school departments, vocational schools (specialized courses, advanced courses), technical colleges, junior colleges, universities, or graduate schools.
In principle, individuals with an annual household income exceeding 10 million yen are ineligible.
Furthermore, victims of economic crimes such as special fraud are not eligible. However, it is possible to provide grants within a range that does not exceed the amount of damage caused by special fraud, when combined with the wholehearted scholarship.
