View from Newbie

Strategy shifts :
Started my first try in investment all thanks to Moo moo’s Apple free share promo campaign .
Being a newbie with a purpose to find alternative side money , I started small and went into tech stocks due to AI boom news . However down the road , it’s not sustainable as certain bad news seem to bring the company down significantly . So I started looking into other industry such as retail .

Unexpected gains :
I had a good gain in Malaysia ipo on the recent 99 speedmart and jpg to partially cover for the loss in YTL

Future tactics :
To continue to gain to cover for forex loss due to usd -myr drop, I’m dabbling into China shares as there seems to be potential for a rebound , not expecting it to hit the price prior to their mco time but there’s still a large gap I believe they can grow to .
