Vanguard total market (ticker VTI) is my favorite ETF because it really embodies what an ETF should be in terms of giving you exposure to the entire United States stock market in one simple and low cost ETF. The expense ratio was only 0.03% or three dollars per year for every $10,000 invested in the ETF. this is perfect for someone who wants market exposure, but doesn’t want to figure out what to buy.
