Watch the volume. Something is brewing
$Yanlord Land (Z25.SG)$ The cumulative volume since the run up is around 16% to 17% of outstanding shares. This accounts for more than 50% of the free float of Yanlord. Imagine close to S$200m transacted in this company. Not many people realised that they are sitting on a few huge investment gem in Singapore. Any sale or realisation of these investments could easily be used to fund share buybacks. Possible privatisation candidate given the recent volume accumulated? NAV over S$3.

101562138 : nav mostly consist of unsold units and land. cash on hand barely pay off the debt. if no more stimulus and property market downfall continues, it may follow the footstep of country garden.
Fred189sg OP 101562138 : noticed the crown jewel is the 65k sqm UE Square comprising Office, Hotel and Commercial. 3k psqft = $2.3bln. Collectively the assets in Singapore, bulk of it belongs to United Engineers which it acquired in 2019/2020 at a discount to its NAV. Those assets collectively is more than $3bln. 50% gearing on these assets would have net equity of more than $1.5bn, which is the current market cap.
